*Direct Cremation - $599.00

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; removal of remains; transportation to crematory and filing of necessary permits. Cremation container included. Cremains will be presented to the family at the funeral home.

If the death occurs in a private residence the purchaser will incur and additional charge of $150.00 for the extra personnel we will need to facilitate the transfer.

Certified copies of Death Certificates which are obtained from the NYC Department of Health cost $15.00 each. Elsewhere throughout NYS the cost is $10.00 each.

Crematory Expenses

Listed below are two of the crematories we utilize the most. Should you prefer to use a crematory not listed, please do not hesitate to request it. Northeast Funeral Service will accommodate your request for a different crematory.

*Basic Burial Service - $599.00

This charge includes the basic services the funeral director and staff; removal of the remains from the hospital; transportation to a local cemetery and filing of all related permits for disposition of the remains. This charge includes an unfinished box.

Our basic burial fee does not include visitation in a chapel or at the graveside. Also, this charge does not include viewing, memorial or funeral services, embalming or cemetery fees.

*For services outside the five boroughs an additional mileage charge may be apply.

Application for Cremation Permit:   Department of Health request form for cremation. Sign only.
Rosehill Cremation Autorization , Person other than Agent Form:   Authorization to arrange for cremation. Sign only.
Death Certificate Information Form:   Please fill out this information form pertaining to the death certificate.
